Polyphony Digital’s racing game sold 163% more than in the previous week when it was #7th, while Guerrilla’s open world action RPG surged by an impressive 307%. The same actually applies to other first-party PlayStation 5 exclusives. Insomniac’s launch title Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales ranked 15th with a 302% sales spike over the previous week, though the most impressive week-over-week increase was registered by Insomniac’s most recent release, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, which sold 709% more....

The project, which is currently in the works by Williammutazion, will attempt to recreate the game originally released on the SEGA Dreamcast console as a PSX title. While there is clearly a lot of work left to be done, the project definitely seems to be on the right track. As already mentioned, Resident Evil Code Veronica was originally released on the Dreamcast before getting ported to other consoles. Given how Capcom has been remaking classic entries in the series, it isn’t impossible that a Resident Evil Code Veronica remake will eventually be made, although not in the near future, considering Capcom is apparently working on a Resident Evil 4 Remake that will be revealed soon....

Space Exploration Technologies Corporation (SpaceX) has won a fresh batch of astronaut missions from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) for the agency’s crewed missions to the International Space Station (ISS) in low Earth orbit (LEO). SpaceX’s Crew Dragon capsule is the only vehicle that is capable of sending astronauts to the space station from U.S. soil, and it is currently working with NASA to send another batch of astronauts to space in October - that will mark the first time a Russian cosmonaut has flown on an American vehicle since the end of the Space Shuttle program....

According to Spencer, over the past year, Xbox has been greatly growing in Asia with the team welcoming more players in Japan and Asia to the Xbox community than ever before. Interestingly, as stated by the Xbox head, the Xbox Series S was the main reason for the higher-than-ever Xbox console player growth in the country this generation with the majority of hardware sales coming from first-time Xbox owners – an interesting tidbit for sure and quite impressive....

Shortly after the game’s release on Steam, the first mods for the hit title dropped, including an RTGI ReShade preset and a PC modding tools modification, and we now have a couple of suit mods that will please fans of the franchise. Released last week for PC and PlayStation platforms, the third-person cat title from BlueTwelve Studio is quite the immersive and atmospheric adventure. It allows cat fans to play as their favorite domestic cat in an ancient mystery. Thanks to modder ‘Jessica Natalia’ we now have a first-person mod, however, that makes the title even more immersive. It’s a fairly no-nonsense mod that does what can be expected although there are still some minor bugs....

Street Fighter VI was already a top guess, as it’s about time for a new game in the series to be announced, and next Monday also happens to play host to this year’s Capcom Pro Tour Season Finals. Capcom has been teasing the next iteration of Street Fighter for a while – they recently released Street Fighter V’s final character, Luke, who they promise will be key to the next entry in the series....

As of yesterday evening, Valve released another update to Team Fortress 2. This update has lots of unlisted changes along with what’s going on over in the update’s patch notes. These shadow changes have made a bigger impact than anyone would anticipate. That said, a YouTuber known as Tyler McVicker made a video relating to said unlisted changes, which you can watch below. It’s a rather short video, but it denotes one thing that’s pretty big in relation to the “bots in public servers” problem....

Update 1.08, which is now live on PC and consoles, introduced combat improvements, performance and stability fixes, localization optimizations, and general quality-of-life changes. The update also fixes an issue that prevented PlayStation 4 trophies from syncing properly. A new video shared on YouTube by Heavy Burns provides a new look at one of the most ambitious Skyrim mods ever, Skyros. This total conversion mod aims to recreate Game of Thrones’ Westeros as accurately as possible, allowing players to journey from Dorne and the Reach to the Wall and experience for themselves the beauty of the world created by George R.R. Martin. The story will also make players feel part of Westeros, as it begins right at the start of the A Game of Thrones novel, as King Robert Baratheon reaches Winterfell....

As covered last month, developer ‘CryZENx’ is currently focusing on N64-inspired fan recreations in Unreal Engine. His latest work is the Ocarina of Time remake in Unreal Engine 5, and from what we witnessed last month, the results are quite staggering.
