A Change in Supplier Made All the Difference in Performance, Power-Efficiency, and AI Qualcomm was rumored to switch foundries from Samsung to TSMC, as the latter’s 4nm was reported to be superior in every way. That appears to be the case here because not only is the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 faster on its fastest core, but even the ones designed for power-efficient get a clock speed increase. This shows that switching to a better manufacturing process has a multitude of benefits....

IGN’s new findings are in the form of two interviews, one with director Morio Kishimoto, and another with Takashi Iizuka. First off, in the interview with director Kishimoto; he offered a few comments relating to why the game’s landscapes are “Open Zone”, rather than open-world, as well as what they are. In the past few days, I was able to experience a meatier chunk of the promising Soulstice, and the longer gameplay segment not only confirmed my opinion of the game but also made it even more positive. After its test prototype for the Starship launch vehicle caught fire last month, SpaceX has finally inspected the booster and shipped it back to the launch site. Starship is SpaceX’s 394 feet tall rocket that is central to the firm’s plans to not only conduct crewed and uncrewed flights to Mars, but also rapidly build out its Starlink satellite internet constellation. The company is currently building out prototypes of the rocket in its facilities in Boca Chica, Texas and at this front, its Booster 7 is thought to be the first of its kind to be ready to conduct an orbital test flight....

Recently, the SteamDB listing for Starfield was updated, giving the game a new release date of December 29, 2023. A new “package,” perhaps related to a season pass or other DLC, was also recently added then removed from the Starfield page. Clearly, something is going on behind the scenes with the page. Now, December 29, 2023 is very likely a placeholder date – that would be a very strange time to release a major game – but it could indicate that a late 2023 release is more likely than an early 2023 release for Starfield....

Rather, on February 25th the embargo for press reviews and impressions will lift. Additionally, Valve will send the first batch of order emails to reservation holders, allowing those users to finalize their purchase within the next three days. Yesterday we already covered the announcement of a Resident Evil Code Veronica PSX Demake, and today we wanted to share another demake for the original PlayStation. Created by YouTube channel “Rustic Games BR” using Unity engine, this new video shows the original Dead Space as a PSX title complete with a fixed camera and Grim Fandango-style (and of course 1996’s Resident Evil) tank controls. The result is pretty spectacular, especially for fans of the Dead Space franchise....
