The Linux i915 driver notes show no explanation of the ARC Alchemist line offering support for up to five displays. The new line has never appeared to support five individual displays in any previous photos. However, with the introduction of USB4, Intel may use USB-C ports for additional display support. The previous photos leaked online only show DisplayPort or HDMI connectivity. Currently, NVIDIA and AMD are only capable of supporting four displays....

Two months have passed since the introduction of the Vulkan mesh shader extension in Vulkan 1.3.226, offering enhanced support for the Vulkan Linux driver for Intel’s Arc series graphics hardware. The API extension will allow for mesh-shading compatibility across multiple vendors. This is confirmed by the fact that the user posted the unblurred picture of the chip which has the ‘Intel Confidential’ label and is a ‘Q0D8’ variant which is for an ES1 sample....

The research was conducted using Intel’s second-generation silicon spin test chip. Through testing the devices using the Intel cryoprober, a quantum dot testing device that operates at cryogenic temperatures (1.7 Kelvin or -271.45 degrees Celsius), the team isolated 12 quantum dots and four sensors. This result represents the industry’s largest silicon electron spin device with a single electron in each location across an entire 300 millimeter silicon wafer. They may be talking about an all-new core entry in the franchise, or perhaps they’re just talking about Just Cause Mobile, which was announced in 2020 for a 2021 release, but later delayed to sometime this year....
